Google's biggest spenders
Good stuff from the Kantar Media family here giving us insight on Google's largest search customer. No real surprises here....
What is amazing though is that Google rakes in c$25bn in search revenue so the whole of the top 10 make up 1% of the total revenue.....that's a loooooooooooong tail!
OK, let's crunch numbers: Google's annual revenue in 2010 was $29bn - of which 48% came from US based customers, that's $14bn - top 10 US advertisers spend $243m in one month, that's about $3bn annually, assuming they spend evenly across the year. - that makes 21% of total revenue. - so it's a long tail, but it's not loooooooooong

Is the cost based on monthly spend?
Steve, is this a US based list? 51million for Amazon globally sounds a bit low to me...
Hi both,
This is data for the US market only for the month of May 2011.... that said it think its largely indicative
